Purchasing & Receiving Digital Gift Cards

1. What is a digital gift card?
It's an electronic version of a traditional gift card. We deliver it to you (or someone you choose) via email or text message.

Our digital gift cards can only be used at our physical restaurant locations in New York City. 

2. How do I purchase a digital gift card?
You can buy them online here or in person at our restaurant locations in New York City.

3. How much is a gift card?
You can choose to load the gift card with any amount between $5 - $500.
We suggest $30 - enough for a bowl of ramen and something extra.

4. How will the recipient get the digital gift card? 
It will be sent by email or SMS text message.* Each digital gift card has a unique code that needs to be shown when using it at one of our restaurants.

IMPORTANT: 
Sending the digital gift card by SMS text message is not available for in-person purchases. To send a digital gift card via text messaging, please purchase it online.

5. I didn't receive my gift card.
It may take a few minutes for it to be delivered. Just in case, please confirm if the email address or phone number you provided is correct. 

If the email address or phone number is valid, but is NOT the right one, a valid gift card will still be sent. You CANNOT unsend, refund, or cancel the card.

Therefore, **ALWAYS double check the email address or phone number!!**

6. Can I schedule delivery for later date?
Sadly, no. The digital gift card you purchased will be sent once your payment has been processed.

7. Are the digital gift cards refundable?
No. All sales of our digital gift cards are FINAL. They cannot be refunded or canceled.

Using & Managing Digital Gift Cards

8. How can I redeem a digital gift card from ICHIRAN?
Enter the unique code found in your digital gift card during the payment process.  

9. Can the digital gift card be used for things other than ramen?
Yes, but only for purchases made in-person at our locations in New York City. 

10. Where can the digital gift cards be used?
At any of our restaurant locations in NYC.

But you CANNOT use our digital gift card at:
-ICHIRAN Online Store
-Delivery via third party apps 

11. Do digital gift cards expire?
No, they do not have an expiration date. 

12. Can I reload my digital gift card?
No, you cannot reload your digital gift card. But you can use multiple gift cards in a single transaction. 

13. Can I earn points and redeem rewards with the digital gift card?
You won't collect points on the purchase of the digital gift card itself, but you can earn points when using the digital gift card to make a payment. 

You can also redeem rewards when you use the digital gift card as a payment method. 

13. How do I check the balance on my digital gift card?
You can ask one of our employees to check the balance for you. Or you can check the balance online here.

14. What happens if I lose my digital gift card?
Please contact us with your poof of purchase at customerservice.ny@ichiran.com. 

We may ask for additional details to confirm your purchase and digital gift card. Once we verify everything, we can resend your digital gift card via email.   

15. Can I send a digital gift card to someone in another country?
Yes, as long as this person has a valid email address or USA phone number. But please remember our digital gift cards can only be used at our restaurant locations in NYC.

16. Are the digital gift cards refundable?
No. All sales of our digital gift cards are FINAL. They cannot be refunded or canceled, and they cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. 

17. Are there any fees associated with using ICHIRAN's digital gift card?
No, there are no additional fees, but message and data rates may apply when sending the digital gift card.
